HOME / BEYOND – en fotobok med jazzbilder från Fasching av Thomas Niemi.
In 2024, I had the opportunity to exhibit my photographs at Fasching, the Stockholm jazz club I have been returning to for many years.
I called the exhibition HOME. Partly because going to Fasching has always felt a little like coming home. And partly because I chose only photographs taken at the club — photographs that, in a way, were coming home too.
HOME brings together the photographs from the exhibition.
BEYOND is what came next: photographs taken at Fasching after
HOME went on the walls.
Together, they are a collection of photographs from a place that has been part of my life for many years.
